Krishna and Vishnu Mano have found some great ways to be there for their community
My brother and I are part of a GVSU youth group called the Kaufman Interfaith Scholars. On a recent Zoom call, we were talking about how we could help the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. My brother and I noticed that many people need help during the pandemic, so we made a website that helps people find jobs like getting people's groceries. If you feel unsafe to go outside and get the groceries, you can post the grocery list on the site by clicking on the 'I need help' button. Also, if people are willing to do things to help the effort like sewing PPE (personal equipment) and donating to local food drives, you can click on the 'Donate Resources' button. Sincerely, Krishna Mano the amazing Overbeek boys demonstrating all four parts of the fish philosophy in this ballin' fish philosophy video! Nice job guys!! Mrs. Kokenakes has so many great ideas for being there for people - and for how we can choose our attitude when things are not going the way we want or expect them to. Check them out here and maybe even get inspired! Mrs. Conner has some great ways we can be there for each other.

Mrs. Crampton's students are making her day!
On Wednesday, March 25, my students flooded my inbox with videos of dance moves, golf swings, basketball shots, photos of bouquets of flowers they drew, photos of writings they created, emails with jokes or stories of things they are learning or doing while at home. A few kids even recorded songs they made up! ALL THESE EMAILS MADE MY DAY! Each email was titled "Make Mrs. Crampton Smile". They sure did make me smile. I miss them all so much and it was fun to "see" or "hear" them. - Mrs. Crampton Mrs. Remington is remembering to play on a fun hunt for Spring. some of Mrs. Clark's students drove by to make her day :) take a tour of Mrs. T's art studio and see how she is choosing her attitude during this time.
